Securi-Lid and Isuzu have a long history together. We celebrated our 50 000th unit on the new Isuzu 7th Gen D-MAX. Isuzu has been one of South Africa’s leading bakkie manufacturers for the past few decades. They were also the first bakkie manufacturer to appoint us as an OEM component supplier.
With both our production factories being in the same city, collaboration between our two firms has been easy. This partnership has motivated Securi-Lid to increase our product range and has been the catalyst for our new developments.
The new 7th generation Isuzu D-MAX is locally engineered and produced. There are a wide range of models to choose from, starting with the D-MAX 1.9 Ddi all the way through to the D-MAX 3.0 Ddi Double Cab 4×4 V-Cross. The best news is no matter which model you drive, Securi-Lid has you covered.
It takes a lot to improve on one of South Africa’s household names, but the team at Isuzu delivered with the new 7th Gen D-MAX. Not only has there been a tweak to the appearance of the new range, but there has been a sizeable increase in both power and torque.
The new D-MAX fits the Securi-Lid 218 and can be fitted with the Securi-Slide 315. Securi-Lid Style Bars and Cari-on Racks are also available for the new Isuzu.
